LiWa Form® are preformed parts made of light-curing plastic, for various fields of application. They facilitate the work of the technician for all "wax" work and save a great deal of time, as time-consuming modeling is no longer necessary. The material has a soft, waxy consistency that can be worked "cold" by hand or "hot" with an electric wax knife. The different parts are: grained plates, mandibular clasps, molar clasps, round hole retention, wax wire, smooth plates, ring clasps, retention grids with round holes or with square holes. LiWa Form® can be applied directly to the master cast, prior isolation with LiWa Iso® is recommended. Duplicating is no longer necessary, which saves additional time. The cured LiWa parts reproduce details very accurately and exhibit great strength and flexibility. The parts can be easily removed from the model and further processed with rotary instruments. Modeling with LiWa Form® burns out completely and without residue. During heating, the material expands, which must be taken into account when selecting the investment material. So-called speed investments can therefore only be used if the temperature is increased gradually.
